EMWIN
Emergency Managers Weather Information Network is a suite
of data access methods which make available a live stream of weather and other critical emergency
information. Each method has unique advantages. EMWIN's present methods in use or under development
for disseminating the basic datastream include radio, internet, and satellite.
Many of the systems above use the EMWIN internet feed for their data, their is no local (GSP area)
radio available, which leaves the satellite system(s) listed below.
EMWIN2
Description: Complete Satellite receive system, does NOT include computer or software
Requires: Seperate computer and software

Cons: Expensive.
Price: $2000 one-time.
NOAAPort
NOAAPort is a significantly
more detailed data feed than EMWIN. For your average user, NOAAPort is overkill and is mentioned here
just for completeness.
